BUS 477 - New Venture Planning

Our text for this course is Building a Dream - A Canadian Guide to Starting Your Own Business, Walter S. Good. 7th Edition.

Several people have asked if it is OK to use an earlier edition that costs less.

Straight up, I don't want you to spend any more money on text books than you have to. The challenge is, I use the 7th edition.  I don't know what the differences are.  Do you get a cheap copy of the 6th edition (buy me a beer after class one day and you can have mine) and risk missing something?  Do you fork out big bucks for the 7th edition and get more-or-less the same thing?  Your call.  I can only say that I've used them both and they are very similar.

Rather than require you buy any other texts, I will use lots of links to resources in the SFU library and on the web.  All will be posted under References on this website.
